Your responsibilities

  • Brand Building & Activation:

  • Development and implementation of yearly brand plans & short-term tactical initiatives, supervision over execution including preparation of all tools that are necessary to implement these activities.

  • Based on strategic objectives from the brand plan, develop, execute & measure (responsible) activation & communication plans for specific areas e.g. Digital, PR & On-Trade. Keep the track of the marketing spending for the led activities.

  • Media & Communication:

  • Develop yearly communication plan and work together with the Global Team(s) and local IMC on brand communication

  • Consumer & Trends:

  • Thorough understanding of modern consumer insights and trends. Active monitoring of the changes, recommending and leading preparation of all necessary consumer research

  • Analyze the market situation, conditions and trends and present results of the analysis to MM with clear recommendation of next steps (AC Nielsen, BF Tracker, other sources).

  • Agency Management:

  • Lead management and performance management of advertising, promotions, and public relations agencies.

  • Other Functions & Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and report on a monthly basis key competitive activities in the whiskey category in digital, on trade and off trade.

  • Perform regular market visits (on-and off-trade) to gain knowledge and observations about the market and consumers.

  • Regular KPI reporting of the respective parts of business, as well as short &long term plans’ execution.

  • Management of relevant business actions with other functions of the organization and regional/global marketing

  • Input to development of long term strategy for the local market by providing robust analysis with actionable recommendations to MM.

  • Prepare dedicated parts of an S&I sessions and provide necessary tools, data analysis or other help needed by MM.

  • Together with Sales and Finance, develop and deploy competitive and financially healthy promo/pricing, product, gifting strategy and track its execution in the marketplace.

  • Lead additional assigned projects or tasks as stretch assignments towards further personal development. Stretch assignments upon agreement with the manager.

  • Manage and control A&P budget usage, with adherence to business unit spending authorization policy. No over/under-spend by the end of FY. Approach spending decisions with a critical KPI-based mindset.

  • Participate in A&P review meetings and provide required information about JD brand spends commitments and plans.

  • Drive the delivery of expected Brand Profit in terms of monitoring P&L, budgets and brand spends. When needed, proactively suggest or look for solutions in cooperation with other departments.

  • Ensure Responsibility Messaging (R&R) on all communication materials.

Our requirements

  • Bachelor degree or Master’s Degree in Business/Marketing

  • 5+ years of experience in marketing or advertising

  • Understanding of Effective Brand Building Models and of Consumer Trends

  • Complex brand building and brand activation skills

  • Fluent in Polish and English

  • MS Office applications / IT literate

The overall responsibility of JDTW BRAND MANAGER (BM) is to support the development of the brand strategies and lead its implementation across all relevant touchpoints and platforms. Other responsibilities include annual plans creation and management of its flawless execution as well as providing operational and tactical help to the MM. BM needs to be a strong team player and a partner to numerous stakeholders incl. external agencies, sales, trade marketing, IMC, BBI, finance and global structures.
