Your responsibilities

  • Have the ownership of the application support requests coming from IT Service Portal (ServiceNow)

  • Be the BTS e-commerce contact for Business & Market IT for e-commerce service & processes

  • Provide expertise in ecommerce & digital applications area as well as support markets and global teams in daily operations

  • Gather & analyze requirements, identify and liaise with, stake holders to support business opportunities. This includes detailed functional and technical documentation of business requirements and technical solutions, system configuration changes

  • Facilitate communication between internal and external teams to deliver technical and business process improvements and corrections, as requested by the business

  • Create new and improve old global e-commerce processes from an IT perspective and follow closely the development and evolution of the products, brand and regulation in the market we support

  • Create good collaboration & work proactively with all business units that have control over content and business flows within e-commerce system

  • Review solutions and advise leaders on new developments/upgrades and timely testing of changes to the systems including review content and functionality changes.

  • Develop relationships with customers to understand their needs and priorities and deliver timely and quality solutions to users while at the same time ensuring they utilize the full potential of the applications.

  • Review business requirements working with market, technical teams and analysts team members

  • Explain advantages and disadvantages of design approaches from a technical perspective to non-technical internal business partners

  • Manage expectations through both formal and informal communication channels

Our requirements

  • 3-4 years’ work experience in E-commerce & Digital area

  • 5-6 years IT project management, requirement gathering, business analysis;

  • Application support and customer service in a global, multicultural environment – tobacco and FMCG are a big plus

  • Hands-on experience with Adobe Experience Manager, Magento is advantegous

  • Order Management System and SAP experience is a plus

  • Extensive Configuration experience in the respective application

  • Detailed knowledge of application testing, test procedures and test scenarios

What this position is about - Purpose

The position exists to provide expertise in E-commerce & digital applications and to support markets and global teams in daily operations. You will gather & analyze requirements, identify and liaise with relevant stakeholders to support business opportunities. You will be completing functional and technical documentation of business requirements and technical solutions/system configuration changes recommended. You will also be responsible for ensuring that any changes comply with legal regulations within JTI locations. This role will involve frequent communications with various market teams in Europe and USA and requires travel to these markets. KPIs for the role include use of IT ServiceNow & Atlassian stack to manage and report changes, system uptime, system testing and security issue resolution.
