Build Planner
The team you will be a part of

The Build Planning Team is located on the Dryer Architecture in the Whirlpool Global Product Organization. The main scope of this team is to support the new product development within the EMEA region.

This role in summary

The primary function of this role is to deliver BOMs of dryers and manage all the activities needed to ensure New Product Implementation execution. You will also manage multiple development, regulatory and Cost and Quality  projects schedules in order to support their timely execution..
As the Build Planner you will take care of BOMs modifications and product documentation management. By proficient data management and analysis you will be actively present in many stages of the project. You will support projects cost evaluation at the early stage, documentation creation at the development stage and implement product modifications during its mature life. Being a good Build Planner means maintaining good relations with many departments of the organisation which will enlarge your professional network and enable you to get to know the corporation processes.
 

Your responsibilities will include
  • Bill of materials creation and management
  • Support of pBOMs creation in the early stages of projects (PPTA)
  • BOMs modifications and analysis (Windchill/SAP)
  • Effective interaction with the System Integration team
  • Integration with internal stakeholders as part of the project execution (Marketing, Manufacturing, Costing, Procurement, Quality, Subsystems, Cost and Quality)
  • Data management
  • Management of internally printed labels (Bartender, MII)
  • Design of labels (Adobe Illustrator)
  • Purchase Orders management
  • Visual control of prototypes produced in preseries
Minimum requirements
  • Bachelor Degree in Mechanical / Mechatronic /Production Management or related field (students of last year also welcomed) 
  • Proficient in English
  • 1+ experience with data management
  • Experience in production environment
Preferred skills and experiences
  • 2+ experience in production environment
  • Experience facilitating effective communication across teams
  • Intermediate user of MS Excel or Google Sheets
  • SAP / Windchill  experience as a plus
  • Good communication skills
  • Excellent analytical skills for interpreting data
  • Project management skills with ability to manage multiple projects parallely
  • Proactive Team player, results oriented with strong problem-solving attitude and organizational skills
