Your responsibilities
The main purpose of the role is to be a Subject Matter Expert in field of accounting for AREV product (ASC606 and IFRS15/IFRS16). As part of that you will:
be a first point of contact for Business Analysts and rest of development team in case of doubts regarding accounting matters,
verify client requirements vs. accounting standards,
consult new program designs,
consult the correctness of existing features,
support BAs in redesigning existing functionalities to limit the risk of bending accounting standards,
help in defining use cases for new/existing features,
educate the team in financial/accounting field.
You will be working as part of an agile team, participate in agile ceremonies including Sprint Planning, Backlog Refinement, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives
Employer requirements
Commercial experience working as an accountant (be comfortable with Revenue and Accounts Receivables: sending/selling the product to the customer, billing customer, recognizing revenue, receiving payment, transaction flow of contract with debit and credits)
Good written and spoken English
Ability to understand ASC 606 / IFRS 15 guideline
Ability to explain financial/accounting concepts to non-financial people
Good interpersonal skills

Quick learner
University education in Accounting
Optional
ASC606 / IFRS 15 guideline knowledge
Experience in data analysis using Excel
Technical awareness / experience working with software development
