Your responsibilities
Ensure correct data delivery on management requests and in-line with key business processes.
Constantly looking for improvement in data quality, new data sources, new approaches to data collection and reporting.
Draw insights and make actionable recommendations that reflect the business need and context based on findings from data analysis.
Help to improve internal & external data collection process, methodology and tools.
Guard and protect the organization's data, making sure that the data repositories produce consistent, reusable data in cooperation with BI.
Drive the adoption of a new business intelligence solution and help support the whole organization to measure, improve and predict the business results.
Documents relevant project details, data sources and methodology in projects.
Create resources and help with the roll out of projects to other EMEA markets.
Understand data context and business objectives.
Support identification of strategies to improve Gross Margin and Sales results.
Leverage the data and insight derived from the company's products to drive revenue and identify product opportunities.
Question all existing assumptions and processes.
Our requirements
3+ years of experience in a reporting & analytics function, banking, or management consulting
Experience working with big data sets
Expertise in data mining, statistical analysis, and descriptive analytics
Ability to leverage various data sources (external and internal) to do deep dive analyses and paint a holistic picture
Strong analytical and problem solving skills, with demonstrated intellectual and analytical rigor
Strong quantitative skills
Excellent knowledge of MS Office
At least basic knowledge of SQL and VBA
Must be a team player, be energetic and able to collaborate with team members and vendors
Be proactive and exhibit enthusiasm to continually learn
“Can do” attitude aimed at discovering problems and comprehend situations that can compound them
Fluent in statistical analysis and data mining (experience in different mining techniques)
Strong business acumen
Analytical mindset and comfort with data and financials
Ability to work with data from different sources
Excellence in planning and prioritizing goals and tasks
Comfortable in questioning the status quo and testing new ideas
Ability to think strategically to marry analytics to long-term value creating actions
Highly organized, detail-oriented and possessing a high level of integrity
Good communication skills both spoken and written – in Polish & English
