Business Analyst Global Investment Management Services
Location: Poznań
The GIMS Business Analyst (BA) provides a wide range of services in support of Investment Management groups, Trading, and Investment Compliance. The BA ensures the crucial trade and compliance required data are available and accurate to be able to enter an order in the system and ship to trading. The BA is responsible in logging and resolving any data, functionality, and/or system issues reported, track issues for further trend analysis and identify root cause and provide proposed resolutions and recommendations.
 
The BA acts as liaison and serves as a point of contact with FTS-Investment Operations, Fund Accounting, IMDS Technology teams, and other support groups to ensure all trade transactions are entered and processed timely and correctly.  In addition, the BA analyzes and documents the existing business workflow, prepares future business workflow recommendation, prepares new system functionality including sourcing new data, engaging technical resources to review the existing and new business workflow, conducting system testing to validate the change that will fix the issue and provides system sign-off for implementation in production.  The BA provides training to the business as needed.

Working with us, you will be responsible for:

  • Answering Charles River incoming inquiries from Portfolio Managers, Traders, Global Investment Advisers Compliance, and Franklin Templeton Technologies on a timely manner
  • Monitoring timely and successful loading of orders from Liberty to Charles River during order burst
  • Liaising and working with the back office teams on any data, order or trade issues
  • Partnering with technical groups to monitor, troubleshoot and resolve errors from any system interfaces with the investment management system
  • Providing system training as required
  • Providing content management in Charles River  and Liberty from different Accounting Systems, OneTIS, FactSet, Bloomberg, MSCI and other data vendors as required
  • Maintaining control procedures and performing data audit as necessary in order to ensure the accuracy and integrity of the data
  • Reviewing and/or creating test plans and test scenarios
  • Developing user guides and training materials
  • Reporting and tracking issues until resolved
  • Participating in any new fund launching or account onboarding
  • Ensuring accurate user and group privileges and access
  • Communicating to the team as well as the other business groups who will be impacted with any new processes or enhancements User and Group setup and maintenance

We are looking for candidates who:

  • Have a Bachelor or Master’s degree in a related discipline
  • Possess 1-3 years’ experience in Investment Management and Operations
  • Have basic experience on relational databases and administration of systems
  • Can work in high pressure and fast pace environment
  • Have strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Have basic knowledge of financial markets, standard asset classes and various security types.
  • Are advanced in English (B2+/C1 level)
  • Experience or basic knowledge on Charles River, security types or accounting systems is a plus
