Business Change Manager

Your responsibilities

As Business Change Manager you will be supporting Labour Management software projects (mainly) in Europe. For starters you will be designing, rolling out and ensure best practices are recorded to further professionalize and standardize our ways of working.

You will design and execute:

– Assessments before and during the implementation

– Set-up the warehouse layout, all processes, shifts and schedules

– Set-up tailor made reports

– Provide training to the leadership team, management, supervisors and team leads

– Create configuration documentation

– Maintain the application in case of process or layout changes

– Assist the project and/or senior Engineer to meet the schedule and project goals

– Raise risks and issues to ensure implementations are successful

Our requirements

We are always looking for people who are willing and capable to make a difference and who will add value to DSV. Characteristics we are looking for: engaged, responsible, entrepreneurial and the ability to share knowledge effectively.

– Bachelor degree in business administration or logistics

– A minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a logistics or production environment

– Good mastery of Dutch and/or English in orally and in writing

– Good mastery of Excel

– A distinct eye for detail is a must

– WMS-experience (CargoWRITE/ JDA Dispatcher WMS) and/or labour management is an additional advantage

– Affinity with setting up of applications

– Affinity defining issues, collecting data and drawing conclusions (if-then-else)

– Ability to work independently and ability to work effectively and proactively in a relatively unstructured environment

– Ability to build strong coalitions with site and account management teams, internal customers like Global IT, BCM but also the supplier of the applications (Blue Yonder)

– Willingness to travel 15-20% of the time
