    Description:

    The Business Continuity Management team reports into the CRO organization and is responsible for ensuring critical functions are continued following any major interruption across 4 defined Impact Types: Loss of Premises. Loss of IT, Loss of Staff and Loss of an External Supplier.

     

    The BCM team consists of three work streams responsible for the following areas of focus:

    • Planning & Analysis: Develop the Business Impact Assessment (BIA), Business Recovery Strategies (BRS) and Plans (BRP)
    • Readiness: Testing, Incident & Crisis Management, DR Site Readiness and Technical environment

    The BCM Specialist role provides support to all three streams with primary focus on Planning & Analysis activities and includes:

    • Conduct Business Impact Assessments
    • Develop Business Recovery Strategies and Business Recovery Plans
    • Support outsourcing of business processes to Poland to ensure BCM controls are in place
    • Support and lead crisis management process
    • Identify and mitigate risks impacting the recovery capability in EMEA nominated locations
    • Maintain repositories for BCM documentation, ensure BCM data integrity across BCM applications and tools
    • Support the ongoing recovery capability of nominated EMEA locations
    • Provide BCM Governance and Risk Management for nominated EMEA locations
    • Build relationships across the regional BCM Teams, Business, IT and Global Business Services areas
    • Other tasks assigned by the BCM Poland Country Head

    Qualifications:

    • Graduate/Equivalent work experience
    • Public presentation and facilitation techniques to gain collaboration and achieve consensus
    • Self-starter with ability to work on assign tasks with minimal level of operational supervision
    • Ability to work in a matrix organizational structure
    • Sound understanding of risk management principles and philosophy
    • Excellent sense of tact and diplomacy by demonstrating professional conduct in highly sensitive or volatile situations
    • Self-motivating with the ability to prioritize workload
    • Ability to organize and motivate others, who in many cases may be in a more senior position
    • General understanding of Technical Infrastructure in an enterprise environment
    • Ability to work with all levels of management and across business units and departments
    • Tact and discretion in order to handle confidential information
    • Ability to bridge potential conflicts between partners
    • Strong Project Management with emphasis on risk mitigation
    • Fluent English language skills
    • Excellent oral/written communication supplemented by strong presentation skills
    • Proficient in Report writing and MS Office
    • Business Continuity Experience including test planning and stream ownership during test cycles
    • Confirmed working knowledge of IT core infrastructure, Systems Integration and Architecture
    • Incident Management experience
