Your responsibilities
An outstanding opportunity to join us as a specialist in the Investment Bank Regulatory Services team: Derivatives Regulatory Reporting Control & Management Information Team. As a part of the team you will be responsible for monitoring the status of OTC Derivatives, Exchange Traded Derivatives (ETD) and OTC Client Cleared Trades reported to US and European Regulators. This is performed through the completion of control process such as: trade report monitoring, exception management & reconciliation process. The team is responsible for managing the investigation, analysis & resolution of trades to ensure adherence to the Regulatory reporting obligations for both Credit Suisse & it’s Clients. Regulatory reporting status is communicated to senior business partners & management with KPIs, KRIs and metrics. This role presents the opportunity to collaborate with several other Divisions & Teams within Poland, as well as with colleagues in London, Raleigh, and New York. The role also encourages an out-of-the-box attitude as the scope of the team responsibilities evolves & grows over time, to take on additional responsibilities.
Your future colleagues
The financial crisis of 2008 resulted in a number of reforms in the OTC derivatives markets, namely increased transparency. G20 Derivative Regulatory reforms were implemented globally through legislative and regulatory measures. This resulted in Credit Suisse having to report OTC derivatives under acts such as Dodd Frank, ESMA, Canada, FINMA. The Regulatory Services teams role in the OTC Derivatives space is to ensure trades are reported in a timely, complete & accurate manner. The Regulatory Services team though has broader responsibility that spans across both Trade & Transaction reporting, including: MiFIID, Volcker, SFTR, FinfraG 104, SONIA, Financial Transaction Tax. As regulations evolve or expand it becomes the IB Regulatory Services responsibility to support Credit Suisse obligation to report. We are a department which values Diversity and Inclusion (D&I) and is committed to realizing the firm’s D&I ambition which is an integral part of our global cultural values.
The team consists of sub-teams, whose responsibilities can be summarized as follows:
* Monitor daily levels of completeness, accuracy, timeliness & data quality across assigned jurisdictions & asset classes, ensuring correct trade reporting to Trade Repositories. This requires identification, categorization and investigate of root causes across exceptions; then take appropriate action for resolution by liaising with IT and Ops to fix the root cause (DTD & Listed Business Teams)
* Provide regular MI on reporting completeness, accuracy, and timeliness for distribution at Performance and Business Risk review committees (Metrics Team)
