    WHAT THE JOB IS ABOUT

     

    Our Business Development teams focus on building partnerships with new Groupon UK merchants. We spend our days learning about what makes small-business tick and how to craft unique marketing campaigns to help them reach their targeted audiences. Our expertise ultimately creates jobs and drives economies as we help local merchants thrive.

     

    WHAT YOU WOULD BE DOING

    • Market and competition monitoring
    • Support Head of Business Development in various Projects and tasks
    • Day to day contribution to the Groupon strategy and Business Goals
    • Manage a team of Business Development Team Leaders
    • Delivering the assigned goals in line with Groupon International and Groupon EMEA values
    • Looking for Improvements and Optimizations opportunities
    • Sharing knowledge and best practice with the team
    • Supporting sales team in negotiations with key partners
    • Reporting and analyzing key performance indicators, trends and results to continually define areas for development
    • Recruiting and managing the team and ensuring proper onboarding of new hires
    • Cooperation with other departments

    THE SKILLS AND BACKGROUND WE ARE LOOKING FOR

    • Bachelor’s degree preferred
    • Fluent English spoken and written (C1)
    • 3 to 5 years previous Inside Sales experience
    • Previous experience managing a Sales team
    • Track record of strong performance, growing sales teams, and increasing profitability
    • You have demonstrated levels of dedication and ownership required to succeed at start-up speed
    • You're analytical and able to make decisions based on real data
