    You will be responsible for identifying and appointing new prospects in defined international markets and thereby meeting agreed sales targets and increasing the awareness of our range of Blade and Tool product.  This role is suitable for someone with the flexibility to travel overseas and do business internationally and who has the drive to create financial success.

    You will have highly developed skills in sales, communication and negotiation.  You will be customer focused and have a proven ability to achieve targets, drive initiatives and build/maintain effective working relationships with colleagues, customers and external organisations.

    Business Development Manager (International)

    Job description:
    • Implement the Sales and Marketing Strategy in targeted International Markets.
    • Achieve sales targets through the development of solid working relationships with new customers and the identification of business Leads and Opportunities.
    • Manage Leads/Opportunities via the Sales Pipeline and track customer information and insights using CRM.
    • Travel extensively to sales territories, networking events and conferences.
    • Engage with and present compelling business cases to C-level and mid-management executives in large multiple retail organisations.
    • Create effective written proposals and tender documents.
    • Manage large orders through superior Customer Service.
    • Manage sales forecasting and budgeting in line with business needs.
    • Attend weekly, monthly and quarterly sales meetings and/or conference calls.
    • Effectively communicate market research findings and advise on market recommendations, business risks, sales & marketing strategy and existing/new product development to support your findings. Advise senior management of any relevant certifications associated with new markets and spearhead the process surrounding such certifications.
    • Be responsible for the launch of new products into targeted markets.
    • Assist in the creation of Marketing Campaigns to increase brand awareness, support brand development and increase Lead generation. Plan, organise and exhibit at International trade & media events.
    • Accurately complete and submit expense reports in a timely manner.
    Requirements:
    • Minimum 5 years’ international business development experience ideally selling to large multiple Trade organisations.
    • Knowledge of Tools industry and a background is Tool Sales is preferable.
    • Proven successful track record in sales and business development.
    • Key Account Management. Experience selling to central buyers at head-office level.
    • Experience managing a Sales Pipe using CRM.
    • Commercial marketing experience and capabilities is advantageous.
    • Bachelor’s degree (Hons) required, preferably in Business, Science, Engineering or similar.
    • Fluency in English is a prerequisite. Additional languages advantageous.
