The purpose of the role

The main purpose of the role is to lead audits and other monitoring activities in Lundbeck’s global affiliates to assess compliance with the Code of Conduct and the global Compliance Program. This is performed by combining various approaches including on-site and remote audits, data analytics and forensic methods. You and colleagues in Krakow and Copenhagen will be responsible for the continuous development of the auditing and monitoring program. You will also support team members in conducting investigations and due diligence deep dives.

Meet the team

As an auditor you will be part of the global Compliance & Sustainability team, reporting to the Senior C&S Manager based in Krakow. Team consists of 5 colleagues with the compliance advisory or audit positions. An audit role is crucial for the organisation so you will lead various audits accross 17 Lundbeck locations according to the Code of Conduct and other regulations applicable for pharmacy business.

What is the challenge?

• Plan, execute and report compliance audits and other monitoring activities in line with the global audit program approved by Lundbeck’s Compliance Committee

• Conduct and lead audits and monitoring activities in close collaboration with team colleagues in Krakow and Copenhagen, Lundbeck’s Regional Compliance Officers and external subject matter experts

• Manage the dialogue with affiliate management on observations, corrective and preventive actions

• Collaborate with colleagues from Lundbeck’s other assurance functions to continuously develop audit and monitoring approaches, including remote monitoring, data analytics, forensic tools, reporting etc.

• Support Compliance Hotline investigations in accordance with Lundbeck’s Investigation Procedure

Our requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of experience as auditor preferably within Code of Conduct or business ethics compliance and with other monitoring activities e.g. Due Diligence, data analytics, within multinational companies e.g. life science or pharma
  • Master’s degree within business, economic, social or natural science
  • Knowledge about compliance requirements, specifically pharmaceutical industry codes, e.g. IFPMA and EFPIA Code of Practice and other transnational regulation e.g. US Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA), UK Bribery Act and the EU General Data Protection Regulation
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills both verbally and in writing
  • Mature and confident approach to audit execution including handling of dialogue with management about audit findings
  • Curious, organized and detail-oriented
  • Analytical and confident with handling complex data sets
  • English at C1 (another European language is welcome)
  • Additional information: please be aware that this role will require business travels (up to 15% of working time)

Optional

  • Lead Auditor ISO certification (ISO 19011, ISO 14001 or ISO 9001)
  • Experience with managing whistleblower or compliance hotline systems and conducting investigations
  • Experience with IT systems e.g. SAP
