Business Excellence and Project Management Lead
Location: Warsaw, Poland
Contract: full time unlimited

The Business Excellence and Project Management Lead drives people & processes to ensure first-in-class Business Support to increase competitiveness & efficiency throughout the efficient organization. He/She develops & leads the implementation of a coordinated Internal Customer Excellence strategy for local Janssen organization, evaluating and mastering all internal processes, supporting organization, and all teams. Enables the organization to make educated business decisions by providing adequate data & tools on execution and performance, unifying and streamlining internal procedures. Acts as Project Management Officer (PMO) to the Managing Director & the Management Board & leads key strategic projects.  

YOUR responsibilities & YOUR impact:

  • Leads & develops the Business Excellence Team & assures that business-relevant high-quality services are provided to the Commercial, Medical Affairs and Market Access teams
  • Ensures smooth transition into new local Business Excellence set up & knowledge transfer among team members
  • Anticipates & identifies new business requirements through close collaboration with ALL local teams and ensures respective execution by the Business Excellence team
  • Constantly challenges the status quo & improves ways of working by simplifying processes and capitalizing on synergies
  • Accountable for the optimization of existing insights tools and systems & implementation of new data-based services to provide the best sources for information and internal reports generation
  • Coordinates the design & adaption of internal performance dashboards and reports which empower for better decision making
  • As PMO supports the Managing Director & the Management Board in planning & execution of business-relevant projects
  • Supports the annual business planning processes (NU/BP & LRFP)
  • Drives accountability, collaboration, effective decision-making, and empowerment to the lowest level possible
  • Acts as proactive members of the EMEA / Mid-Sized-Markets PMO network evaluates performance of direct reports vs. objectives on regular basis;
  • Ensures continuous development and coaching for direct reports at present and for the future and to build a strong team

We would love to hear from YOU, if you ideally have:

  • Minimum 5-8 years of experience working in Business Operations, Business Insights, Project Management, Sales and/or Commercial or similar
  • Education: University / Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent, preferably in a relevant business-related discipline
  • Strong business acumen with sense of prioritization in a fast-paced & demanding environment
  • Broad strategic thinking & analytical skills
  • Ability to translate complex data into meaningful recommendations for distinct customer groups
  • Positive dissatisfaction and aspiration to beat the odds
  • Experience with change management, business turnaround, ability to challenge "status quo"
  • Customer centricity, strong problem-solving mindset and interpersonal & influencing skills
  • Self-starter with a result-oriented and diplomatic approach
  • Strong teamwork and collaboration skills with demonstrated ability to develop and use collaborative relationship
  • Excellent communication & presentation skills Accountability and perfection in execution
  • High learning agility and open attitude for change
  • Native local speaker and proficient English knowledge of both spoken and written
  • High level of ethical standards in business
