The successful candidate will become part of COO within the Financial Crime Compliance (FCC) function. In this position, you will support remotely the FCC COO team based in Zurich. The position provides a unique and an outstanding opportunity to join a highly motivated and dynamic team in an international and diverse environment and to grow your career, build up further exposure and increase your visibility within the function and the wider firm.

You will be responsible for a growing and managing variety of tasks such as:

  • Contributing to managing the FCC function’s financials including budgeting, forecasting, monthly accrual process, tracking of headcount, financial reporting, cost-allocations, etc. in collaboration with central COO function
  • Supporting the FCC functions in financial matters, e.g. providing regular financial reporting, invoice handling
  • Performing ad-hoc and in-depth analysis on specific cost lines and items to identify potential for optimization
  • Assisting in the management of provider relationships including management of contracts and purchase orders in collaboration with Procurement and other corporate functions
  • Ensuring timely delivery and high quality of work products for the FCC COO function
  • Responding to ad-hoc requests and managing queries related to the FCC COO function

We are looking for:

  • A bachelor degree in Accounting/Controlling, Business Administration or Compliance, or a similar education
  • Minimum of 2-3 years relevant proven experience, preferably in the financial industry
  • Detailed understanding of accounting/controlling issues and financial processes
  • Outstanding communication paired with strong organizational and stakeholder management skills
  • Positive attitude and willingness to work in a fast-paced environment. Proven ability to manage work effectively under pressure
  • Excellent English language skills, both written and spoken
  • Very good knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Diligence and high level of attention to detail in every aspect of work
  • Ability to work on own initiative and also be able to collaborate seamlessly with colleagues
