We are seeking sharp, talented individuals to join our team of highly skilled professionals in our Operations Center in Greece and other countries. Through 40 telco partners we are providing financial inclusion to over 600 million consumers in Africa, Middle East, Asian Pacific and Latin America via a variety of mobile financial services such as Airtime Credit, Mobile Money Loans, Mobile Device Finance, B2C Loan Apps, E-Commerce Credit Solutions and Marketplaces.

As a Business Operations Director you are responsible to grow and maximize the bottom-line revenues for all running VAS services. You work closely with the Operations-team and the Customer Engagement Directors/Key Account Managers in order to optimize each service in terms of feature enhancements, planning, delivery updates, up-time and secured revenues coming from the various services. You have a deep understanding of the Telco industry, especially the FinTech aspect of it, such as mobile money, mobile wallets, ARPU, etc. and recognizes the MNO requirements in terms of deliveries, data-management, regulations and how the MNO manages their own KPI’s.
 
Your have a talented team working in feature delivery planning, NOC, IT, UX and business analysis and you report to the Chief Operations Officer.
 

Responsibilities:

  • Maximize revenues from existing services in terms of:
    • Ensure accurate operational execution of the services
    • Optimize channels/features/campaigns
    • Partner with Data on profiling and impact on services
    • Ensure RA is solid and covered properly through the service
  • Develop and maintain BI-Dashboards for existing and new services
  • Secure service up-time and report on SLA’s
  • Initiate and manage deliveries of features/CR’s for the services through a coordinated approach between Channel VAS needs, MNO requirements and internal resource planning
  • Ensure solid reporting on the services for Channel VAS internal MT-reviews as well as a continued alignment reporting with the Telco’s

REQUIREMENTS

  • Proven track record of 3-5 years’ experience in this role, working for FinTech, Telecom/Technology or VAS firms is an added advantage
  • Fluency in English
  • BSc and MA/MSc in Business, Science, Engineering or Marketing. MBA will be considered as a plus
  • Excellent communication skills and fluent in English
  • Pro-active attitude, hands-on and getting things done
  • Strong problem solving and good skills in financial modelling, using Excel
  • Able to perform under pressure to hit tight deadlines and and deliver results in a fast-paced environment, whilst multi-tasking at various projects
  • Customer focused, innovative thinking, self-starter, felixible, highly organized and a strong attention to details
  • Excellent teamwork and interpersonal skills
  • Flexible, eager, ambitious, and adaptable to change
  • Excellent judgment, organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Willingness to travel occasionally
