    Responsibilities

    • Responsible for developing effective Data Standards within a specific business domain or domains. Must effectively articulate and translate business value, needs / requirements into data definitions/standards while working closely with Global Data Standards Domain Owner, Business Sponsors, Subject Matter Experts, Data Modelers, Domain Core team, System Owners and stakeholders across lines of business.
    • Translates business requirements into proposed data definitions, metadata specifications, and data variant/dimensional policies creating fit for purpose standards appropriately aligned with industry standards, compliance requirements and internal Data Governance policies and procedures.
    • Works with sponsors, standards core and governance teams to define stakeholders, propose data standards and adjudicates feedback from stakeholders.
    • Defines and engages all stakeholders and represents their interests along with overarching business needs and thinking to ensure fit for purpose agreements
    • Identifies critical data elements (CDOs) during standards development and related variants/dimensions policies needed to define data, in alignment with Data Governance policies and procedures.
    • Conducts interviews and research analysis to determine external/internal standards,
    • process/system/report requirements, and data profiling.
    • Reviews and interprets process documentation, system/report specifications, integrated data flows and data models
    • Refines business value of data, based on requirements, and proposes Source of truth, System of Record and re-use consumers (processes, systems, reports, etc.)
    • Works with Information Technology teams to document requests for system level changes resulting from approved standards.
    • Evaluates data quality during standards development and recommends standards updates, audit approaches and/or defined rules to trigger data error reporting
    • Translates Data Standards, Business Rules/Scenarios and Data Model requirements into Quality Rules for data quality audits
    • Works with Sponsor and System Owners to monitor and report adoption activities through closure of the standards package.

    Job Requirements and Competencies

    • Bachelor's degree in science, analytics or biology related field (nice to have)
    • 3 or more years’ professional experience in the pharmaceutical/ biotechnology industry or related experience (nice to have)
    • Experience developing data standards/definitions
    • Demonstrates a deep and comprehensive understanding of the importance and impact of data (or bad data) on the ability of the business to meet its own objectives.
    • Capability to navigate and influence complex organizational and cross functional relationships
    • Must display a strong cross functional, End-To-End understanding of standards within and across data domains to enable data sharing across the organization
    • Ability to identify optimal approaches for resolving data quality or consistency issues to achieve targets
    • Knowledge of data modeling / architecture principles and techniques
    • Knowledge of process management and maturity methodologies
    • Experience with portfolio and project management
    • Experience with data or software development life cycle
    • Experience with change control processes

    4. In some situations the Administrator is entitled to transfer your personal data to other recipients, if it is necessary to conduct the recruitment process.     5. Your personal data indicated in point 2 a) above will be stored for the period necessary to carry out the recruitment process to the indicated position, or until you withdraw your consent for processing data for this purpose, to the extent to which data is processed on the basis of the consent, and personal data indicated in point 2 b) above will be processed until 31.12.2019., or until you withdraw your consent for processing data for this purpose.

Providing by you your personal data, indicated in point 2 a) above in the scope specified in art. 221 § 1 of the Polish Labour Code and within the scope of other specific provisions, pursuant to art. 221 § 4 of the Polish Labour Code is necessary in order to conduct recruitment process, you are obliged to provide it, and failure to do so will prevent proper recruitment process.

Providing by you your personal data, indicated in point 2 a) above in the scope not specified in art. 221 § 1 of the Polish Labour Code, nor within the scope of other specific provisions applicable pursuant to art. 221 § 4 of the Polish Labour Code and personal data indicated in point 2 b) above is voluntary and is not a statutory or contractual requirement or a condition for the conclusion of the contract.

    11. There will be no action undertake in relation to you, involving automated making of a decision, including profiling.
