Buying Specialist with German

Your responsibilities

  • Ensure proper buying channels usage

  • Verify/create/update Speedcharts on a daily basis

  • Be familiar with PO and Credit Card process

  • Ensure proper accounting and cost allocation

  • Monitor and enforce Speedcharts/POs usage

  • Contact vendors and/or internal clients if needed

  • Assist in Purchase process issues, share an expertise knowledge with the Users

  • Being familiar with PS batch process which runs automatically in PS

  • Prepare reports, statistics files requested by Line Manager and Buying Centre Users

  • Documentation update - job aids, procedures on a regular basis

  • Performing trainings to new joiners and to existing employees for continues knowledge enhancement

  • Active contribution to cross team meetings to deliver quality support to our Clients

  • Continuous development on most efficient process and cascade/ train roles coordinated

Our requirements

  • Very good spoken & written English

  • At least intermediate level of German

  • Experience in accounting is an advantage

  • Experience in a shared service centre or a large financial organization is desirable

  • Good understanding of accounts payable accounting practices

  • Analytical skills

  • Good knowledge of Ms Excel

  • Ability to work within tight operational deadlines and handle a number of tasks and priorities

  • Knowledge of PeopleSoft or another ERP package is an advantage
