Your responsibilities
- Working with old and newly designed test and measurements instruments - VXI and LXI standard based
- Maintaining C/C++ code (kernel modules, embedded software, user level drivers, test software, Qt-based GUI applications)
- Designing and creating new C/C++ code for LXI instruments (network servers & clients, embedded software, drivers, test and hardware validation software, Qt-based GUI applications, web interfaces)
- Working with hardware engineers on hardware design validation
- Requirements analysis and documentation
- Debugging
Employer requirements
- A Master’s degree with specialisation in software engineering, electronics or similar
- Good C: maintaining old code and finding oneself in third-party C code
- Good C++
- Ability to work well in a group as well as to independently work on a project
- Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Good written and spoken English
