BorgWarner customers portfolio includes major global car manufacturers, the team in Kraków interfaces with European customers mostly from Germany, France, and the UK.
The team develops components of vehicle fuel systems responsible for environmental compliance. The components are made mainly by plastic injection molding.
The team in Kraków has full design responsibility for the product starting at conceptual phase and lasting up to mass production implementation.
CAD Designer is responsible for developing 3D models in close collaboration with Product Engineer and other team members.
The models range from rough used for concept evaluation to more detailed used for CAE analyses and rapid prototyping up until final models used for production tooling manufacturing.
CAD Designer creates technical drawings and conducts tolerance studies.
Remote and face to face communication with customers and suppliers as well as data transfer lie within CAD Designer responsibility.
B. Sc. is a minimum requirement. M.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering is a preference
At least 2 years of experience as a CAD Designer
Proven ability to work in either of Catia v.5, Catia v.6 or Siemens NX.
Very good command of English allowing to lead even complex technical discussions via mail or telephone.
Command of other languages is an asset.
Knowledge and experience in GD&T
Past experience in automotive or injection molding is a strong asset
Excellent time management for own tasks
Experience in use of Microsoft Office applications
Good interpersonal and communication skills
Broad technical knowledge and analytical skills
