Your responsibilities

  • Build & own the Ice Cream strategy for Regional Local Chains – creating and ensuring growth, execution guidelines and investment model

  • Focusing on how we sell most loved ice-cream brands to Polish consumer (Algida/ Big Milk/ Magnum/ Ben & Jerry’s)

  • Creating 4P (portfolio, price, promotion, placement) strategy, tools and deciding on KPIs and monitoring of KPIs

  • Management of a multi-million promotional budget

  • Being the face and liaison between RLCH KAMs and marketing/management/trade marketing/finance/ /demand planning

  • Preparing and post-evaluationg promotional and trade plan for local chains

  • Sales analysis with formulation of insights and clear actions

  • Create trade stories and trade support materials for Customer Development team (KAMs)

  • Close cooperation with sales, marketing, planning, POSM team and external agencies

  • Taking part in meeting with clients

  • Working with Proximity Category and Channel Development Senior Specialist

Our requirements

  • 1 year of commercial experience (finance, marketing, trade marketing or sales)

  • Attitude and learning ability is key

  • Data driven and analytical, to work with CD excellence for right analytics and finance team to make sure plans deliver growth and budget is well managed

  • Conscientiousness and reliability is an absolute must

  • Assertiveness and ability to influence others including senior stakeholders

  • Business acumen: understanding the trade, planning fast and rigour in analysis of how to maximize the impact and return on investment for our trade promotions

  • Passion and engagement

  • Entrepreneurial thinking: Think fast to design, test with speed and scale for growth!

  • Fluent English both written and spoken

  • Fluent in Polish both written and spoken

The position is within Proximity (Traditional Trade) channel, being part of Out of Home channel. Proximity is the largest, fast growing and priority channel for Unilever Ice Cream, which thanks to its flexibility, gives enormous opportunities for business and personal growth

The position is responsible for trade marketing support for Regional Local Chains (RLCH), being the largest and fastest growing part of Proximity
