Your responsibilities
Procure aluminum for production process in CANPACK Group (globally).
Support the process of vendors selection from bid package preparation, global tendering process (RFQ/RFP) until contract signature.
Draft/negotiate agreements with suppliers to meet commercial, technical and operational requirements. Supervise the process of realization of the agreements.
Participate/lead the negotiation with the suppliers.
Support implementation of new suppliers/alu specifications in cooperation with internal technical team.
Work with various Group Offices and subsidiaries to resolve delivery, quality and other issues as required.
Manage the cooperation with the suppliers in the area of scrap conversion into quality metal.
Ensure internal/external compliance with sourcing procedures and contracts.
Identify and develop new vendors.
Manage the suppliers to ensure an affective relationship to improve supplier performance.
Prepare and conduct supplier performance review meetings.
Deliver costs savings .
Identify opportunities for optimizing the supply chain process.
Manage and develop long-term relationships with suppliers
Prepare multiple & complex analysis, comparisons, data sheets etc. on the global level.
Our requirements
Several years of previous experience in a similar position with full procurement process overview
Master's degree in Economics or Business area preferred
Proven track record of high spends negotiations (preferably in global, strategic procurement)
Fluency in English (written and spoken)
Knowledge of SAP system and advanced MS Office skills
Excellent communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills
Proactively identifying and solving issues
Comfortable working with legal and contractual terms and language
Ability to work under the time pressure in a dynamic environment
Can-do attitude with a drive to deliver and exceed targets
