Heli-One’s Poland facility in Jasionka near Rzeszow is focusing on airframe maintenance, repairs and services of “heavy” helicopters in the CHC fleet as well as external customers. The company completes repair and overhaul services for customers internationally. All our global sites are outfitted with state-of-the-art equipment and staffed with expert technicians.

Category Coordinator

The Indirect Category Coordinator will be responsible for assigned product groups and/or regions, support of various projects and administration of assigned Indirect Category corporate functions such as the procurement system, Travel, Credit Card, Facilities, etc.   The goal is to support various initiatives designed to improve internal customer service, improve efficiency and drive ongoing cost savings.

Procurement:

  • Support ongoing enhancements and improvements of overall global Procurement Program
  • Full visibility on suppliers, spend and key stakeholders for assigned regions and or product group
  • Liaise with Indirect Manager and Category Manger to leverage category knowledge to identify new opportunities
  • Establish new / preferred vendors and pricing through implementation of catalogues in procurement system to expand self service program
  • Obtain RFQs for non-catalogue items, negotiate best terms and price and supplier selection
  • Initiate and manage purchase orders for non-catalogue goods/services; ensure order acknowledgements are processed, orders expedited as required, vendor delivering to committed dates, conforming to all internal and external regulations and QA requirements.
  • Monitor and manage all open orders for assigned area
  • Stakeholder engagement and user support in terms of training or other questions relating to the Indirect programs
  • Collaboration with regional supply chain personnel to support regional objectives and align with opportunities
  • Supplier relationship management
  • Collaboration and engagement with Safety and Quality as necessary
  • Prepare regular reporting such as KPIs and overall spend reports
  • Ensure any purchase orders are complete and received in the system to allow AP to pay invoices according to payment terms and collaborate closely with AP on any issues
  • Ensure compliance to CHC Procurement and other relevant policies

Program Administration:

  • The Indirect Category owns various global indirect programs that include Travel, Facilities, Credit Card and the Indirect Procurement System.
  • Administrative support of assigned indirect programs may include:
    • User support and monitoring program email box to ensure issues are addressed
    • Support new users to the program including training support
    • Running various reports to monitor compliance to the program and escalation of any issues
    • Support any program expansion in project coordinator role including maintaining and managing project action logs
    • Participate in Supplier Business Reviews to review KPIs and overall performance
    • Identify areas of process improvement in order to reduce costs
    • Other tasks as assigned specific to each individual indirect program

Qualifications and Attributes

  • Fluent level in English Language
  • Strong business acumen / maturity and high degree of professionalism
  • Be able to develop strong relationships both with internal stakeholders and external vendors
  • Be a problem solver / outside the box thinker
  • Excel in a changing environment
  • Adaptable to changing priorities
  • Proficient with MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint& Word); running reports
  • Experienced and displays a level of confidence in dealing with 3rd party vendors including negotiation of terms and pricing
  • Ability to build strong internal and external relationships
  • Team Player, self-motivated and results driven; provide solutions before being asked
  • Ability to multitask and adapt to changing priorities in a rapidly evolving and dynamic environment
  • Strategic thinker that wants to develop career within a global organization
  • Training/experience in Continuous Improvement (Lean, Six Sigma) (NOT required, but good to have)
  • Supply Chain accreditation (CPP, CPSM, CPIM, CSCP) (NOT required, but good to have)
  • Ability to demonstrate ethical conduct
  • Strong written and verbal communication
  • Employees must comply with and adhere to all company policies
  • May perform other duties as assigned.
  • International travel may be required.
  • A minimum of 1-2 years of relevant experience
  • A university Degree or equivalent education, training and experience

Aviation experience will be an asset.
