Your responsibilities
- Cross plant responsibility for Aluminum/ Plastics commodity regarding strategy, sourcing recommendation and global/regional budgets
- Lead all commodity related work and stay in close contact with Engineering and program management and other Category Managers
- Implementation and execution of commodity strategies to achieve the overall purchasing targets for Flokk
- Develop and execute the strategic direction of the category
- Initiate intensive benchmark activities and observe market data
- Develop a comprehensive Business Plan/Tactics
- Optimize supplier footprint for the supply base
- Decide on optimal number of suppliers
- Manage the relation with suppliers
- Develop strategic suppliers
- Align with Engineering to clarify technical prerequisites and to drive cost reduction
- Perform sourcing activities in the NPD and ECO processes
- Negotiate prices and other conditions to achieve best TCO
- Negotiate and sign contracts
Our requirements
- Minimum 2 - 3 years´ experience from similar positions
- Higher education
- Excellent communication skills
- Fluent English
- Result/task and action oriented with motivating skills and drive
- Effective problem solving capabilities
- Self-motivated
- Ability to work both independently and with diverse teams
