Your responsibilities

  • Enforcing robust risk governance and ensuring all stakeholders have visibility of key risks and any remediation activity.

  • Partnering and advising on setting, communicating and monitoring risk appetite in line with business requirements, including appropriate support and challenge.

  • Overseeing the holistic end-to-end health of the control environment

  • Conducting high quality and efficient reviews of control performance.

  • Facilitating controls remediation where required.

  • Raising awareness and understanding of risks, controls and risk management.

  • Continuously improving the control and monitoring of risk, including behaviours.

  • Embedding the bank’s Risk Management Framework.

  • The objective of this role is to provide support to the Global Operations Transformation management to ensure effective management of the Change Execution Risk across DBS Operations.

  • This role will be an individual contributor and a key member of the DBS Operations CCO and Operations Transformation management teams.

  • The role is based in GSC Poland and will provide support to key stakeholders from across the globe. The role is part of the Operations CCO team and has functional and entity reporting lines to the GSC and Operations CCO based in GSC Poland.

  • Strong relationship management, collaboration and influencing skills with experience of positive, challenging interactions with senior management.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills: ability to present complex issues simply and concisely.

  • Able to build productive working relationships with colleagues from different cultures and backgrounds and operate effectively within a globally dispersed team operating in different time zones.

  • Able to drive and successfully deliver multiple, wide-ranging priorities, often under stringent time pressures in a dynamic environment.

  • Able to influence others; able to build and led build transient informal teams to solve specific issues.

  • Operating effectively in a complex, global organization.

  • Experience of managing operational risk.

  • Experience of designing and implementing controls and control frameworks for change programmes and/or software development.
