Who you are:

  • You have change and transformation experience coming from a global business within a DBS environment
  • Knowledge of the following SAP Ariba modules: Buying, Supplier Lifecycle Performance and Risk and Contract Services. Knowledge of Ariba Sourcing would also be useful
  • You have a track record of delivery of change programmes related to processes, technology and ways of working that delivered value to the business and increased efficiency and effectiveness of DBS organisation
  • You are experienced in delivering change impact assessments, gathering business, process and technical requirements and running workshops
  • You have designed and delivered training materials and sessions
  • Ability to identify and solve problems - using data and identifying the root cause of issue
  • You have advanced communication skills, with a strong ability to influence others and track record of delivering change
  • You understand how people go through a change and the change process
  • You have knowledge of change management principles and methodologies
  • You are comfortable with ambiguity
  • You have knowledge of SAP, Ariba, VMI, other finance and procurement technologies are advantageous
  • Excellent communication skills, including the ability to present information effectively to a wide audience and the ability to coach, engage, encourage, and bring along stakeholders at all levels of the organisation

About The Role:

This role is responsible for:

Change Management

  • End-to-end management of change programmes
  • Identify and deliver improvement opportunities, through employing process improvement methodologies, in line with the Change Management principles and approach
  • Put in place measure and monitor benefits realised through improvements

Process and systems training

  • Partner with process SMEs across DBS to build new training content and/or update existing materials
  • Design, plan, and implement procedures and metrics to monitor training performance and effectiveness
  • Deliver continuous improvement of training curriculum and materials in line with leading practices and feedback received
  • Provide on- going business support to help end users become self sufficient including running drop in sessions and managing and updating FAQs.
  • Keep up to date on changes and new version releases of SAP Ariba ensuring training remains relevant
  • Listen to user feedback as part of the training process and work closely with the Procurement Operations team to make necessary improvements

Learning and Development

  • Build the right change and transformation capabilities by supporting learning and personal development of DBS employees         
  • Deliver Training and Learning programmes led from DBS to the business

Deliver transformation and embed change

  • Support delivery of global complex change programmes
  • Manage and deliver Transition plan of any change and training scope coming to the DBS
  • Mobilize and engage the Change Network


  • Ensure communications content is developed and coordinated to support all change implementation and engagement activities
  • Bringing transparency around DBS transformation initiatives and work with the transformation teams to communicate about progress, risks and issues
  • Support DBS leadership team with internal DBS communications
