For one of our partners, the world leader in the development and manufacture of high performance scientific microscopy systems, spectrographs and scientific digital cameras, we are currently looking for:

Channel Partner Executive

The person will be responsible for maintaining and developing sales through Channel Partners to deliver year on year growth in line with business plans.

 

Key tasks and duties

  • Management of the company's distributor accounts and microscopy channel partners
  • Develop existing and new channels in the sales territory to increase market share and bookings.
  • Travel regularly with the channel partners and provide support as necessary.
  • Work with Customer support team to provide answers to technical and commercial queries from direct research customers in both physical science & bio - imaging applications.
  • Utilization of CRM system for Lead Generation, Lead processing, Pipeline management and  Forecasting
  • Proactively manage distributor partners, with monthly review meetings/calls to monitor and develop pipeline, opportunities and product trends
  • Continually compile market information/intelligence on dedicated regions with a view to providing feedback to channel partners to help identify opportunities for market development and growth of sales in the territory
  • Ensure the product segments have necessary focus to grow
  • Represent and promote the company in a professional manner at trade fairs and conferences within the designated regions
  • Provide a weekly channel partner sales report detailing bookings figures versus target, 90 rolling forecast, potential sales, customer feedback and activity plan
  • Attend annual sales meetings to exchange ideas and develop regional strategies
  • The position requires 50% of travel in working time.

The right candidate should be very good at:

  • planning the delivery of results
  • good teamworker and good in collaboration
  • very good in Business Development as he/she will be responsible for identifying key opportunities to leverage existing and new channels for a sustained growth in sales

 

We are looking for someone who:

  • is a graduate of a Life-science, engineering or similar business discipline and have experience in sales or a sales support role as well as experience in selling or supporting sales of technical and high value products.
  • it would be desirable for the successful candidate to have experience in selling spectroscopy, microscopy or optical devices.
