About the project

In your role as a Chapter Lead, you will be responsible for managing a team of approx. 15-20 employees (currently only engineers but that can be changed in the future). At the same time, you will be part of the delivery team, therefore good knowledge in technical and operational aspects as well as willingness to develop a business context of Sales Analytics is expected.

Your responsibilities

  • Line management of direct reports

  • Recruit new team members

  • Appropriate use of personnel management instruments

  • Active role model function for the agile methodology and a strong focus on customers and service

  • Acting as one important role in an agile organization, i.e. matrix-like setup

  • Obligation to cooperate in cross-cluster management

  • Ensuring that future-ready professional and methodological training is provided in own area of responsibility, creating conditions for knowledge transfer; potentially willing to take on training projects, speaker functions and mentorships

  • Responsibility for ensuring workplace health and safety for all employees within their own area of responsibility

  • Support for young talents

  • Ensuring that team members in their own area of responsibility always meet compliance requirements, strict compliance with regulatory training requirements; actively promoting awareness of compliance-related issues among the staff

  • Alternative Tasks: support the delivery and operations of Sales Analytic; support of development, rollouts, acceptance tests, etc; support of change, incident, and problem management; support local DTC in various programs, e.g [email protected], Promotional events, etc.

Our requirements

  • State of the art practical experience on development and operations in a hybrid environment, e.g. on-premise and cloud, central and decentral environments

  • Experience in development and/or maintenance of applications in Windows/Linux environments

  • Experience in HP-Service Manager and ITIL

  • English B2 level

  • Personal skills: good analytic thinking with attention to detail to solve problems; proactively driving projects and tasks to deliver results; customer orientation and ownership attitude for the assigned responsibilities to deliver results in time and line with the clients need; excellent collaboration and communication skills, in particular in a matrix-setup; high flexibility and adaptability to a fast-changing environment; good team player with a high ability to work in cross-locational and international teams; strong willingness to learn and execute new technologies and approaches in person and for the team


  • Good knowledge of Bash / Scripting

  • Good knowledge of CI/CD

  • Good knowledge of Monitoring tools

  • Basic knowledge of cloud computing and containerization

  • Basic knowledge of Python

  • German language

Description of the cluster:

The Sales Analytics cluster as a part of the BDAA key area services the segments corporate customers as well as private and business customers. We combine and consolidate the bank's data in our Data Lake to identify customer needs and transform them into sales opportunities using customized analytical models.

Our modern interactive dashboards covering various areas of the banking business provide the conclusive argumentation to convince the customers to our sales colleagues. We then create transparency in the measures of sales success integrated into our unique dashboard product family. The development of new data-based products such as the pay-per-use credit completes our range of services.
