About the project

You will be responsible for managing a team of approx. 12-15 team members. A mix of development engineers and business experts. We are looking for a manager with an agile mindset, problem-solver who works in close coordination with the product owners, the business (data) experts, development engineers and operation engineers, as well as with the other chapter leads from Lódź and Frankfurt.

You are going to develop chapter strategies and standards and promote the future of your employees. You also work on the professional development of your employees by bundling know-how, permanent knowledge exchange and best practice approach in the chapter.

Your responsibilities

  • Line management of direct reports

  • Recruit new team members

  • Active role model function for the agile methodology and a strong focus on customers and service

  • Obligation to cooperate in cross-cluster management

  • Ensuring that future-ready professional and methodological training is provided in own area of responsibility; creating conditions for knowledge transfer; willing to take on speaker functions and mentorships

  • Responsibility for ensuring workplace health and safety for all employees within own area of responsibility

  • Support for young talents

  • Ensuring that team members in own area of responsibility always meet compliance requirements

Our requirements

  • Good to High knowledge – or proven potential to develop towards leadership. Experience of working as a manager for a minimum 3 – 4 years would be preferred.

  • Basic experience in HP-Service Manager and ITIL

  • Basic knowledge of monitoring of business processes

  • Knowledge about methods of agile software development

  • Knowledge about presentation methods and presentation tools

  • English B2 level


  • Understanding of application management of complex IT systems

  • Understanding and analyzing business requirements (actual/target). Gathering and documentation of business requirements and design / development of functional solution / function IT concept

  • Experience in job scheduling and analysis

  • Experience in the usage of monitoring tools

  • Knowledge of communication techniques

  • German language

Description of the cluster:

Cluster Trade Finance delivers fast, client-focused and central provision of Trade Finance products and services for all clients globally along the whole Trade Finance Supply Chain - electronically and traditionally. Our main products are a documentary business (Letter of Credits, Collections, Guarantees) connected with developing automized IT solutions with the use of OCR technology and Artificial Intelligence. We combine all services regarding Trade Finance products from product management, product-specific / technical sales support up to run and change all TF IT systems. To support the business processes, we develop our own, integrate 3rd party software applications and operate them on different IT platforms.
