Chemical Engineer

Miejsce pracy: Katowice

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and complete on time gas sensor projects as product road map:
    • Design of new sensors decided by the product road map;
    • Plan project steps and report progress;
    • Propose and implement new solutions based on latest technologies;
    • Provide technical support for new product introduction process;
    • In conjunction with production engineer design and commission new chemical processes/ chemical equipment;
    • Design tests, prepare reports with results analysis;
  • Understand catalytic and electrochemical sensor operation and application,
  • Supporting customer tests for new applications and supporting existing applications,
  • Supporting manufacturing,
  • Ensure the up keep of knowledge for radioactive material health and safety legislation and requirements,
  • Maintain and keep up to date knowledge of Chemical Gas Sensors and other Gas sensor technologies.

Requirements profile

  • Technical university, degree in Chemistry,
  • Minimum 5 years,
  • Experienced in the design of catalyst structures,
  • Experience in practical applications of catalyst to sensor applications,
  • Experienced in applying chemical engineering to a manufacturing line,
  • Experience in sensor test and applications,
  • Experienced in environmental testing of gas sensor components,
  • Fluent English language,
  • Knowledge of electrochemical gas sensors or gas detection would be an advantage,
  • Knowledge of catalytic gas sensors or gas detection would be an advantage.
