Your responsibilities

  • Provide vision and leadership that attracts followers

  • Motivate a high performance, innovative and results-driven team

  • Public relations, including communicating the company’s vision and mission through public speaking and digital media

  • Develop short/long term company and product roadmap

  • Establish and implement short- and long-term goals, objectives, policies, and operating procedures

  • Work with the company’s investors to develop and update the financial plan for the organization

  • Ensure that a world-class product is built and is supported by a first class marketing and customer service team

  • Establish strategic partnerships with other companies to reach the ambitious user growth targets

  • Build and manage the team

  • Oversee cash flow and company finances

  • Oversee marketing and content development aligned with business objectives

  • Ensure company objectives and standards of performance are not only understood but owned by management and employees

  • Ensure company and its businesses comply with all applicable legal and regulatory requirements and, where appropriate, best practices

  • Communicate progress in developing the business and financial performance to investors

Our requirements

  • University degree

  • Minimum 10 years of management experience, of which at least 5 years in digital/e-commerce sector

  • Entrepreneurial spirit and results orientation.

  • Strong desire to lead from a strategic and tactical perspective in all aspects of day-to-day company operations

  • Excellent leadership, negotiation, management, problem solving, and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to work strategically, but also hands-on problem solving

  • Track record of building innovative, creative, and collaborative teams

  • Experience in medical/pharmaceutical companies would be an additional advantage

What we offer

  • This role is ideal for someone who is a ‘digital native’ and has the right mix of leadership skills, passion, energy, results orientation and experience to build a new e-commerce business in the medical sector.

  • The CEO will have primary responsibility for ensuring the development, successful launch and scaling of the company’s consumer-facing application. At the same time he or she will need to build and manage a small, but highly competent and motivated team tasked with IT development, negotiations with key business partners in the medical and pharmacy sector and communication with customers and stakeholders.

The company is a joint venture between an industry leader and a digital projects investor group. The objective of the company is to launch a digital platform in the medical sector with huge potential and a target of PLN 100 million turnover in 2 years.
