Chief Technology Officer

The role:

Our Chief Technology Officer will provide the company with technical leadership. Strategic thinking and technical knowledge are essential for this role. We expect you to be well-versed in current technological trends and familiar with a variety of business concepts. If you are also an excellent communicator and public speaker, we’d like to meet you. Please keep in mind there is a possibility for this role to be fully remote, therefore we invite candidates from outside of Warsaw too!

Responsibilities

• Re-evaluate, re-define and strive towards constant improvement of the technical aspects of the company’s strategy to ensure alignment with its business goals; This include the strategy around the architecture and integration of the internal solutions used within the company.
• Create the technical conception for the company’s architecture and technological bigger picture.
• Make sure best practices are the point of reference for each member of the team.
• Support development of soft & hard skills of the entire production team.
• Contribute towards the success of the company by collaborating departments sharing, utilising and adopting technologies from other areas.
• Ensure that the appropriate risk assessments are made when introducing new operational technology.
• Staying on top of technology trends and developments.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a CTO ideally in SaaS company/ies operating on a global scale.
• Strong technological background and knowledge of modern architecture and integration trends.
• Understanding of budgets and business-planning.
• Ability to conduct technological analyses and research.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Leadership and organizational abilities.
• Strategic thinking.
• Problem-solving attitude.
• BSc/BA in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field.
