Your responsibilities

• Coordinates and establishes Eaton’s Business System Pull priorities and annual CI Plans for each plant with the involvement of the division OPS Director, plant leadership team and site CI leader

• Coordinates and executes VSMs between the plants to identify best strategies to reduce the non-value-added activities between the plants

• Ensures annual self-assessments are completed at each plant to include but not limited to ELSS, OpA, as well as formal assessments when required. These assessments must identify gaps driving maturity levels, annual action plans to improve and include a process to monitor progress.

• Monitors performance and CI plans for each plant, participate in regular reviews and recommend opportunities for improvement as necessary

• Mentors, coaches and challenges site leadership teams and CI leaders in the integration and use of ELSS methodology to include but not limited to Continuous Improvement Framework (CIF), High Performance Work Teams (HPWT), ELSS Tools, Rapid Improvement Events/Kaizen and Lean Six Sigma Projects, as well as the business Lean Tool Certification Program

• Leads process improvements teams including Rapid Improvement Events/Kaizen, as necessary, and directs timely completion of projects that meet top Corporate, Industrial Sector, Vehicle Group priorities

• Acts as an instructor & Mentor for various ELSS training programs which include EBS Pull, specific ELSS tools, Lean training & certification, Six Sigma Greenbelt training & certification, CI for Front Line Leaders

• Supports, as needed, Corporate, Industrial Sector, Vehicle Group initiatives to include special projects or councils

• Establishes VSM based CI council in order to: a) Identify, share and leverage best practices b) Build a network of subject matter experts using the business Lean Tool Certification program, and c) Collaborate and solve common problems faced in the Supply Chain

• Builds Organizational Capability by hiring and developing CI leaders, participate in annual development plans and provide input on organization capability/succession planning sessions

• All other duties as assigned by the Vehicle Group, Director of Continuous Improvement
