Clinical Relations Specialist
(Medical Representative)
The Role
Key roles and responsibilities of the Clinical Relations Specialist are as follows –
- Lead patient recruitment activities
- Build and maintain relationships with Doctors, Practice Managers and patient associations in the area in order to enhance patient recruitment
- Market AES services to GPs, specialists and Practice Managers
- Locate, schedule and attend various pharma events that will allow for face-to-face study promotion in order to obtain new opt-in database leads
- Keep awareness of recruitment plans and centre targets for current and forthcoming studies
- Identify new sources of patient recruitment
- Proactively plan recruitment for new studies to allow fast starts
- Track and analyse results of contracted recruitment activities to determine effectiveness and profitability
- Ensure accuracy and quality of data entered in CRM and other IT systems
- Promote a positive image of AES to all monitors and other customer representatives
- Ensure all communication with customers and colleagues is accurate, appropriate and effective, set positive example
- Be aware of competitors initiatives in novel recruitment methods
- Maintain relationship with Head Office for company trends into new therapeutic areas
- Protect company sensitive information
- Handle patients information in accordance with GCP and Data Protection legislation
- Handle partners information in accordance to GDPR
The Person
To be considered for this exciting opportunity you will require the following skills and experience:
- At least 3 years sales experience in the pharma, bio-tech or medical device industries
- Strong organisational and planning skills to maintain a busy and diverse work schedule
- Ability to communicate in English
- Proactive approach with the ability to work autonomously as well as in a team
- Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret data and use intelligently
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- The ability to multi-task and work well within a high-paced environment
- The ability to use your initiative to deliver a great customer experience
- Excellent communication skills paired with the ability to develop and nurture relationships
- Positive and energetic person with professional individual approach to each of our partners and sense of personal responsibility
- Experience of using Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint
