Your responsibilities
Cloud SME (e.g. IaaS, PaaS, SaaS) across multiple cloud providers including Azure and AWS. Preferable also OCI
Ensure data security, audit compliance and threat / risk model into infrastructure solution designs
Provide SME insight on threat intelligence, detection, assessment and support incident response to threat events
Ensure security compliance are followed in our hybrid and multi cloud setup and support remediation and mitigation activities
Define together with the SOC the cloud platform security log sources, events, metrics, alarms, and response
Plan and follow the Cloud Security Roadmap in tight collaboration with Cyber Security Service team and other internal stakeholders
Review cloud security designs, network architectures, security policies and standards, cyber security risks and data protection
Work with Cyber Security Service team, Enterprise Architects, DevSecOps and Application teams on the practical implementation of cloud security architectures and capabilities
Perform vendor and security technology evaluations and proof of concepts for service improvements
Investigate, design, architect, and build specific infrastructure security controls as they are identified & required
Contribute educational content, blog posts, and tutorials to help customers utilize cloud security
Our requirements
Understanding of Industry trends in cloud technologies for public and hybrid cloud deployments
Ability to identify and drive remediation and mitigation of public and hybrid cloud infrastructure risks
Strong technical experience and skills of Network Security and Security Architecture, Information security standards, Cloud Architecture and Cloud Security, Infrastructure solutions, firewalls, WAF technologies, IP networks, Operating Systems and Databases, End-point Detection and Recovery (EDR) tools, Anti-DDOS, SIEM solutions, vulnerability management
Knowledge about personal integrity, data retention legislation (e.g. GDPR), CIS controls / benchmarks and Azure / AWS / OCI security best practices
Experience from vulnerability assessments and penetration testing
Experience in solution development and integration in Azure / AWS / OCI
Experience with agile development and SDLC
Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills in both technical and non-technical contexts (English)
AWS Certified Security – Specialty or Azure Security Engineer Associate certified (or equivalent knowledge)
Hands on experience with Azure / AWS / OCI

Your role
We are looking for a Cloud Security Architect Lead for ensuring security governance and for leading the design and development of our multi cloud security architecture (Azure / AWS / OCI).
The Cloud Security Architect Lead will be a valuable member of the Cloud Services team, which is responsible for public Cloud within Fortum. You will also be part of the Software CoE and the voice of the cloud services team and our champion advocating for cloud security in close co-operation with Cyber Security Services team.
