Your responsibilities
You work closely with the Product Manager and UX designer to understand the problems, formulate solution proposals and evaluate the implementation effort.
Together with the squad you use design thinking techniques to empathize with our customers on their journey and find innovative solutions to solve their problems.
You support our US-based business team with production issues (until 5pm Eastern Time).
You implement secure, compliant and cloud native solutions, building apps that amaze customers by its simplicity.
You focus on developing API-centric apps, know the digital ecosystem and integrate your solution with ease with external services.
You embrace the DevSecOps culture, automate everything and enable continuous delivery of secure and high quality software, delivering valuable features at a very fast pace!
Our requirements
You have a minimum of 7 years of experience in agile software engineering
You're a full stack developer with a deep understanding of modern, cloud native architectures and software patterns and experienced on MS Azure's cloud offering
Proficient in .Net core and TypeScript
You act as the technical representative for our security architecture and cybersecurity posture. You create secure, defendable configurations of systems, applications, data, threat protection and processes
Knowledge of insurance regulatory requirements in software development is a plus.
You know all the important technologies on the CNCF landscape map
Excellent communication skills are important
Flexibility to work in US time zone hours
You have strong analytical skills, and take on problems in a structured way, joining your own creative ideas and those of others. You can do this on an abstract level and engage in detail to make sure ideas are realistic and pragmatic
An understanding of P&C primary insurance is a plus
Proficient in English
