Your responsibilities
Design, support and development of banking applications
Application monitoring (e.g. through scripts and database queries)
Troubleshooting incidents (searching for errors, checking logs, searching/modifying files, using/modifying scripts, creating database queries)
Supervision of backups and data archiving
Technical support during changes
Testing new solutions and functionalities in technical terms
Creating and/or editing operational scripts
Installation of new packages and implementation of new software versions
Technical testing of new versions
Responding to customer requests
Creating reports
Communication between technical teams
Our requirements
Fluent communication in English and/or German
Knowledge of payment technologies
Experience in Cobol software development
Experience in databases (SQL or administration), especially Oracle, DB2 or IMS/DB
z/OS and/or Unix systems skills
JCL
Transaction Server CICS would be advantageous
Experience in direct collaboration with end customer along with technical solutions preparations will be a desired asset
Willingness to learn new technologies would be desired asset
Knowledge of Rational Team Concert would be advantageous
Resolving problems in a timely manner
Being articulate and communicating effectively
Planning and prioritizing tasks
