The Cobol development team is responsible for technical analysis and software development of the Card Management application. The team performs application maintenance, new requests implementation and supports operations in incidents resolutions and service continuous improvements.
You have a significant role in the technical solutions design.
Based upon the functional design, you create the technical solution and determine the software impacts, in close alignment with the Information Analysts/Engineers from other teams.
You will work close to functional analysts and testers to translate functional requirements into technical analysis and software changes, adopting development best practice and guidelines in use for the card Management domain, resulting in the optimal solution, given the scope of request.
You will be responsible for the configuration and the solution implementation for new changes and projects.
You will support Operations in production incident and problems resolution.
Based upon the technical solution you create the software implementation change in alignment with the development Technical Analysts and the Information Analysts/Engineers.
Implementing software changes, configurations and unit tests according to the validated design and best practices
Performing code review and unit test review to ensure compliancy and software quality standards
Planning your own work and deliver on time the deliverables
Supporting the test team during the test case execution and perform the bug fixing
Supporting operation in production incidents resolution and problem management
Maintenance of the technical documentation
To be suitable for the role the self-reliability, ability to solve multithread technical issues and effective communication in English are required.
The position will be located in our well communicated offices in Wroclaw/Warsaw/Opole depending on your preferences. At initial stage of a project traveling to West European, UK or Nordic countries for couple of weeks can be required.
