Your main task will be mitigating Counterparty Credit Risk on the derivatives market for Franklin Templeton’s funds.
You daily job will focus on exchanging payments (margin calls) with global brokers based on daily valuations of the derivative products on OTC market.
The amounts tend to be high and are bound to deadlines, so the attention to detail and accuracy are strongly required, as well as the ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure.
You’ll have the opportunity to develop your communication skills. We work in the global environment, interacting with internal departments as well as external counterparties (brokers, custodians).
As digitalization is a strong component of today’s financial world – you’ll have the possibility to improve your technical skills by learning multiple systems to support the daily workflow and having the opportunity to participate in trainings.
You’ll be a part of global projects aimed at automation and improvement of current processes, collateral optimization or adjusting to changing regulatory landscape.
Interest in finance and financial markets.
Good command of English.

At a high level, Collateral Management is the function responsible for reducing credit risk in unsecured financial transactions. The goal is to mitigate counterparty risk by issuing margin calls that are at least equivalent to the replacement cost incurred if the client defaults. Margin calls are met with the transfer of liquid assets including cash and securities.
GTS Derivatives (Collateral) is a global team responsible for collateral management for almost all Franklin Templeton’s funds. The team manages a wide range of complex processes related to derivatives as well as their business context, technology flows and regulations.
