    Description:

    OTC Collateral Management is a risk mitigation function which exists to reduce credit risk exposure of Credit Suisse’s legal entities versus firm’s clients. This involves reviewing daily the firm’s exposure and working with counterparties to either deliver or receive cash or securities to cover margin requirements.

    The OTC Margin Team works in a highly regulated and dynamic environment covering many different elements of daily margining activities (Direct client interaction, Controls, Payments processing and validation, Reconciliations and Query resolution with internal and external partners).

    As a member of our team you will own and perform a number of activities such as:

    • Managing margin moves for the OTC derivative set of products – issuing/responding to client margin calls, managing daily flow of payments & securities.
    • Extensive cooperation with Front Office, Trade Management, Legal, Credit Risk Management, Product Control.
    • Investigation and reconciliation of client portfolios aligning MTM’s and mitigating the firm’s risk.
    • Relationship management – daily engagement with key external stakeholders (financial institutions & business partners across the globe), managing clients’ expectations.
    • Control Environment – focus on control aspect of the role, timely resolution of breaks and a full understanding of operational risks.

    This is a high performing risk-focused unit which operates with an ethos of innovation, continual improvement and process development.

    Qualifications:

    To be successful in the role:

    • You have min. 3 years industry experience.
    • You demonstrate in depth understanding of OTC trade life cycle.
    • You are control focused with proven data analysis experience.
    • You have excellent communication and client service skills.
    • You show strong attention to details.
    • You have proven multi-tasking skills/time management.
    • You have ability to work under pressure & in the dynamic environment.
    • Ability to forge solid working relationships with the F2B functions (Front Office, Trade Management, Legal, Credit Risk Management, Product Control) is needed.
    • You are a dedicated problem solver and you are happy to take initiative to improve.
