    Collection Analyst
    Lodz, Poland, Contract: 18 months

    • Responsible for maximizing the timely collection of unpaid customer items (invoices, credit notes, deductions), while minimizing overdue accounts, write offs, and credit holds which could in turn stop sales.
    • Order release.
    • Verifies new customer accounts-customer master data requests and works in co-ordination with AR Team, Business and Risk team in having these assessed and set up within SAP.
    • Responsible for monthly reporting of aged debt within the department, and the communication of this between the US and the local business.
    • Monitors customers’ payment trends, through various SAP reporting tools, and reports back the findings to AR Team Leader, in monthly reviews, and monthly metrics.
    • Close cooperation with Customer Service and Master Data Team as well as with Distribution Team and external customers.
    • Verification of Master data requests - customer change.
    • Balance confirmation with customers.
    • Audit support.
    • Support of the team members when needed (as assigned by the supervisor).


    • Must be fluent in languages of markets covered - English and Polish.
    • Business Administration, Accounting, Finance Degree or equivalent (i.e. ACCA PQ or Q) would be an asset.
    • At least 1 year of experience in credit, accounting or related field, including experience of reconciliation processes and procedures.
    • Ability to synthesize financial information and present logical recommendations.
    • Proficient in the use of Microsoft applications. Some SAP experience preferred.
    • Demonstrated ability to exercise good judgment in high pressure, sensitive situations.
    • Demonstrated problem solving skills, good oral and written communication skills.
    • Thorough understanding of business, processes, systems and internal controls.
    • Ability to identify, manage and implement small process improvements.
    • Ability to work effectively with internal and external customers at all levels.
