Your responsibilities

  • Manage and monitor daily operations of the assigned team members (local and/or remote) to ensure completion of all tasks effectively and efficiently.
  • Prepare and present regular reports on collection and support activities and progress.
  • Ensure the team KPI for collection and support activities are being met on a weekly/monthly/quarterly basis
  • Reconcile customer accounts on a regular basis.
  • Process incoming payments and refunds as and when required.
  • Identify and communicate information regarding high-risk accounts and refer them to 3rd-party collections where appropriate.
  • Maintain and engage with a portfolio of aging receivables accounts to ensure accurate and timely recovery of all past due accounts.
  • Work with other business units to maximise collection and decrease churn rate.
  • Handle all escalations from customers and other business units.
  • Act as an interface with the external collection agencies where appropriate.
  • Participate in the recruitment process for the hiring of new team-members.
  • Assist and coordinate training and mentoring new team members with regards to established policies and procedures.
  • Conduct performance appraisals every 3 or 6 months with team-members (where required) to provide feedback on performance, indicate areas of improvement and identify potential training needs.
  • Work on projects and perform other work-related duties as needed.

Our requirements

  • Degree in a Business related discipline (Management, Business, Finance) or any equivalent qualification
  • Proven experience in a leadership role in recovery and/or customer service (1-2 years)
  • High proficiency in Word, Excel and Powerpoint
  • Proficiency in Google suite tools would be an advantage
  • Fluency in English is a must. Proficiency in additional languages would be a plus

Job Description

EcoVadis is recruiting a Collections & Support Team Leader to lead and manage the collection and support team in Warsaw. The Team Leader is responsible for coordinating all activities within the Collection & Support team to achieve and exceed Business Unit and Company objectives.

This role will assist the Billing & Collection Manager in managing performance and supporting the delivery of outstanding services in line with the vision and values of the organisation.
