Your responsibilities

  • Coordinate debt collections reporting and data analytics function of a multi-market environment ensuring accurate and timely delivery of reports and insights

  • Provide hands-on leadership and training to data analysts

  • Closely cooperate with collections area managers to analyze strategies and tactics and identify areas to improve collections process performance and reduce the costs

  • Develop relationships with key stakeholders and support their understanding of current state and trends in collections performance from the point of view of underlying data patterns

  • Ensure appropriate systems and infrastructure are in place to track, evaluate and support

  • collections strategies and tests

  • Work with internal IT teams, operations and external partners to implement collections strategies, including process improvements and technology enhancements

  • Positively support the vision and strategy of the collections area

  • Design and develop reporting and data processing solutions using SQL, Python, Microsoft Excel, VBA and data visualization and BI tools

  • Work on advanced automation of data processing and reporting

  • Provide ad-hoc analyses asked by Regional Collections Managers

  • Extract the appropriate data & prepare weekly/monthly KPIs for collections function. This includes reminders, collections, and debt sale.

  • Provide the weekly/monthly analysis of all the Champion/Challenger tests outcomes that are performed in any of the IPFD markets, prepare recommendations accordingly

  • Communicate with the Data Warehouse team to ensure that the collections data are being kept and processed in an appropriate way (data quality assurance)

  • Participate in statistical model development and machine learning projects

  • Seek for constant improvement in decision modeling tools, practices, and solutions

  • Deliver a range of complex solutions, working with virtual teams across the group to agreed standards and timescales

  • Provide analytical insight by examining the best ways to utilize data through technical solutions that can impact business strategy and add value

  • Be flexible and pragmatic about how you spend your time, balancing a broad range of business needs to ensure that the business is successful in growing in a cost-effective way

  • Be a great team member, inspiring and supporting the team to be efficient, focused, and generate profit

  • Be an ambassador of the brand, bringing it to life in every interaction (virtual and real-life)

Our requirements

  • Minimum 4 years of experience in consumer debt collections reporting and analytics

  • Excellent understanding of consumer debt collection processes, strategies and methods

  • We care about who you are as a person and having a degree in quantitative methods, computer science or numbers would definitely help you in this role

  • Strong knowledge of and experience with relational databases (MySQL, MSSQL etc.)

  • Advanced knowledge of MS Excel (VBA skills would be an asset)

  • Good knowledge of Python programming

  • Experience with Data Visualization and BI tools (e.g., QlikSense, Tableau, Power BI, Grafana etc.)

  • Knowledge and practical experience of the tools available to support the management of collections area (desirable)

  • Experience with Salesforce platform would be an asset

  • High-level ability to interpret complex performance data; identify and deliver priority actions; evaluate the impact and risks of change

  • Adept at queries, report writing, and presenting findings

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy

  • Creativity and an aptitude for problem solving

  • Open for gaining new knowledge, skills and using or proposing new tools

  • Flexible – happy to roll your sleeves up when needed

  • Preferably worked in Financial Service (Fintech a plus) or collections area related positions

  • Fluent in verbal and written business English (essential)
