Your responsibilities

  • Manage client and partner expectations vis a vis internal and external partners in a consultative and assertive manner

  • Exhibit ownership of KYC/AML experience and client experience end to end

  • Ensure KYC/AML deliverables are met and hold internal partners accountable

  • Demonstrate ongoing understanding of KYC/AML processes and work through delays and/or inefficiencies

  • Manage operational risk effectively through diligent awareness of risks in our processes

  • Escalate appropriate risk items and drive issues to closure

  • Manage client risk effectively by supporting the banker in client selection process

  • Independently manage renewal cycle with relationship management partnership

  • Accountable for timely portfolio management while maintaining quality expectations

  • Liaise regularly with the business to conduct workload planning, review status of key client onboarding’s and prioritize open requests

  • Navigate changing regulatory requirements and competing priorities with agility

  • Manage renewal cycle of KYC forms with relevant stakeholders

  • Complete KYC for new-to-bank business under tight timelines

Our requirements

Required Qualifications:

• Ability to properly identify AML risks and apply AML/KYC policy concepts

• Exceptionally proficient in English, both verbal and written fluency is necessary

• Exceptionally proficient in German, both verbal and written fluency is highly desirable

• KYC/AML/BSA experience (minimum two years; five or more years preferred)

• Strong verbal and written communication skills (must be proficient in English)

• Strong time management, organizational, planning and follow-up skills, ability to multi-task effectively

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Ability to serve as the face of KYC and provide subject matter expertise to both internal and external stakeholders

• Ability to attend critical meetings during US business hours

• Travel may be required (less than 25%) to support various EMEA client coverage teams

Preferred Qualifications:

• BA/BS degree or equivalent work experience in financial services

• Working knowledge of risk factors that may impact specific products and industries

• Excellent attention to detail

• Strong client focus and ability to partner with various internal groups

• Independent, self-motivated with an ability to adapt and be flexible in a team environment

• Previous credit training or underwriting experience

• Ability to navigate client relationships and product usage
