Your responsibilities

  • Being a member of the Commercial and Energy Transition team, you will have the opportunity to shape the future and create long term value to the Group building on our existing oil and gas business towards a cleaner energy portfolio.
  • Be responsible for delivering and managing a number of agreements, (including proximity and crossing agreements) to ensure no delay to internal or external activities/projects. This requires coordination stakeholders to ensure execution within deadlines and ensures within reason
  • Maintain relationships with the wider Shell UK organization in order to proactively identify upcoming work which require proximity and crossing agreements
  • Be the custodian/super user for commercial IT systems (Contracts Agreements Tool, DocuSign, Konga, commercial sharepoint)
  • Coordinate the monthly Handover list and the annual update of the Shell UK external website for Infrastructure Code of Practice (ICOP)
  • Maintain the Commercial Ways of Working (Commercial Business Management System booklet).

Our requirements

  • Commercial acumen and external focus (appreciation of external environment)
  • Good project management skills and the ability to balance priorities
  • Agreements development and management experience – possibly gained in a contracting and procurement role
  • Good relationship management skills
  • Self starter and team player – ability to work flexibly and to support other team members when needed
  • Learner: Ability to quickly absorb and organize new information
  • Strong IT skills
  • The role is operational and will require delivery outside working hours from time to time (flexibility is required)
  • Educational background: Could be Business, Supply Chain/Logistics, Engineering or Legal
