    Description:

    The role is part of Global Business Services Support Department (GBSS).

     

    Group Business Support Services (GBSS) has a wide range of responsibilities which include formulating and implementing the bank's corporate real estate strategy, developing and managing the bank's electrical and mechanical infrastructure and delivering a wide range of business support services which help the bank to achieve its business goals, with a focus on efficiency, flexibility and innovation.

     

    GBSS organization is looking for strengthening its global COO Business Management Team in Warsaw widening its services to provide additional support in various areas. COO Business Management is a key function whose main responsibilities are to enable the department’s strategy, leading change programs, managing finance, governance, performance and risk to ensure GBSS continue to deliver cost-effective, efficient services.

     

    COO Business Management Support role’s responsibilities are:

    • Develop and implement communication plans, organise Town Halls, on-sites, events and other communications related tasks such as production of materials and publication (newsletters, executive presentations, internal communications and departmental announcements; orgcharts).
    • Maintain COO and other Department functional Towers intranet presence and drive the regular intranet reviews and update process.
    • Manage Human Capital related topics such as supporting local recruitment and on-boarding of new team members within the frame of an on-going transfer of roles, activities and processes from Hub locations to Warsaw.
    • Provide support with transformation initiatives, process re-engineering reviews and organizational improvements.
    • Provide general administrative support when needed in all aspect of the COO Business Management function: out of policy travel reports analysis, mandatory e-learning supervision, orders and invoices, overtime reporting, department travel expense reports, etc.

    The role is varied with a chance to participate in the construction of a new Target Operating Model for the Central COO Business Management function. This role will report to the COO Business Manager based in Warsaw and will involve a significant communication with Business Management community at the global level to investigate questions, resolve issues, communicate and update information.

    Qualifications:

    Technical Skills:

    • You have ideally 5 to 8 years’ experience in Corporate/Business Communications or in Business Management & Administration.
    • You are fluent in English both written and spoken (essential) and you have excellent written English communication skills with ability to develop and deliver presentations.
    • You have strong Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel skills (essential).
    • You understand global business communications and cultures.
    • Experience in managing projects is an advantage.

    • Demonstrating a significant ability for discretion and confidentiality in handling sensitive issues.
    • Ability to find opportunities and develop new ideas that will lead to improvements.
