What can you expect?

Compensation & Benefits Product Specialist supports Mercer’s Global Career Products business by contributing to creation and ongoing development of Products content, marketing and communication. The main focus of the role will be on authoring Remuneration Survey Questions content for Mercer’s compensation and benefits surveys used in Mercer Data Connector, the groundbreaking, award-winning online application that streamlines and simplifies how clients submit remuneration survey data. This role will contribute to ongoing relevance and market leading position of Mercer compensation and benefits surveys and improve experience of 30,000+ participating organizations.

In this role you will be responsible for:

  • Maintaining and governing Mercer’s global repository of remuneration survey questions (i.e. Question Bank)
  • Creating new question definitions, including both optimal wording of the questions and definition of the rules for validation of the expected response
  • Maintaining survey output templates including version control
  • Partnering with internal stakeholders on product content development and products migration to Mercer Data Connector environment and associated processes
  • Working to standardize and drive global consistency in questions and validations across products
  • Contributing to the client assets development such as solicitation emails, meeting presentations, product brochures
  • Occasionally supporting Global Product Management function in the area of product marketing, pricing and communication

We would like you to have: 

  • Min. 2+ years’ experience working in a Compensations and Benefits survey environment is a must
  • Experience in client and/or stakeholder management in an international environment
  • English literacy on an advanced level (C1+) including effective communication
  • Literacy in MS Office including building professional presentations and reports 
  • Ability to work in an agile environment and under time pressure

What makes the ideal candidate – but not required:

  • Understanding of most common compensation and benefits policies and practices, preferably across multiple locations/regions
  • Understanding of survey data validation frameworks
  • Knowledge of Compensation and Rewards Products (ex. Workforce Products)
  • Experience in designing surveys / data collection questionnaires
  • Project management experience
  • Social media proficiency
