Your responsibilities
- Support members of compliance and legal team in ensuring compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
- Assist management in developing and maintaining an effective compliance culture.
- Regularly review the effectiveness of policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulations.
- Make recommendations for action to remedy any deficiencies in policies, procedures, systems or controls and follow up on those recommendations.
- Promptly respond to any reasonable request for information from the regulator.
- Support board and regulatory reporting on a timely basis, including ad-hoc requests from regulators, highlighting all relevant compliance issues and escalate any key compliance issues.
- Menage proper registers and documentation used by compliance and legal team.
Our requirements
- Minimum 1 year experience within the financial service compliance or regulatory environment.
- Knowledge of compliance in financial services, PDS2, AML/CT, GDPR.
- Knowledge of the local legislation, regulations and the ability to apply this knowledge appropriately.
- Experience in supporting compliance role.
- Fluency in English, and communication both verbal and written.
- Law degree in Poland or UK or Lithuania or other EU country.
- The ability to work independently, determine priorities, and meet deadlines.
- Strong problem-solving skills, excellent analytical skills.
- An ability to develop effective working relationships with different stakeholders.
