Your responsibilities

An outstanding opportunity to join us in this exciting and challenging role as Analyst within the Wealth Management Compliance Risk & Control Framework function for the WM Compliance COO group located in Zurich. You collaborate with global compliance functions for various risk and controls topics pertaining to the standards, practices, quality assurance, risk assessment and training for the WM Compliance monitoring and testing and Compliance Risk Assessment programs, assuring on time and quality execution of WM compliance risk and control assurance activities and assessments.

You work closely with the WM Compliance coverage, first line of defense functions, and business competence centers, providing support and coordination across the business controls landscape for compliance risks. You support the monitoring and reporting of developments in your field to ensure adherence to legal and regulatory requirements as well as internal policies and procedures. You support our senior business and compliance management by producing analysis and reporting, and providing project management expertise.

You share your knowledge by supporting the development of relevant compliance practices trainings. You are an integral part of a highly motivated team acting in a dynamic and global environment.

Our requirements

  • You bring with you a proven set of relevant experience in an international bank or financial institution.

  • A University degree in law or business administration or an equivalent education

  • At least 5-10 years of proven experience in a risk or compliance function for Private Banking or Wealth Management clients. Ideally in implementing risk management procedures and processes in a change environment

  • Strong analytical skills and experience in a broad range of Compliance Risk topics, and ability to design and execute qualitative and quantitative reporting and analysis, engage with global stakeholders to define, document and execute risk management framework processes and controls

  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills in English are a requirement, German and additional language skills would be preferred

  • Proven presentation skills, and attention to detail, production of concise written documentation summarizing key messages of analyses, as well as precise verbal communication of results
