Description

In the EMEA Connectivity Services Finance Support and Reporting role you will be responsible for day to day finance tracking, finance review, approval, queries and budgetary adherence for all finances not covered by British Telecom (BT) contract with Credit Suisse.. You will be responsible for a growing verity of tasks:


Finance:

You will be operating autonomously while exercising sound judgment in the support of connectivity services finance tracking and governance

  • Supporting processes relating to the internal requisition and purchase order system (MyShop):
    • Checking quotes are accurate and reflect the request or item as it relates the project or maintenance charges for which it is being raised
    • Managing the approval chain to ensure timely production of Purchase Orders
    • You will be acting as a central approver for network related costs
  • Supporting processes related to non- novated accounts
    • Checking that BT reviews are accurate and reflect the current circuit inventory
    • Queries relating to non-novated circuits/escalations relating to non payment
  • Working with BT on timely maintenance renewals to ensure continuity of service, ensuring accuracy against inventory, application of discounts and explainable upticks in cost
  • Working with carrier services and branches to drive MPLS recommendations to completed upgrades/downgrades/changes to reflect best pricing avoiding excessive dual running
  • Dealing with ad hoc queries relating to purchase orders, vendors or from the ATLAS finance tea
  • Tracking POs for invoiced amounts back to actuals incurred by BT

Reporting:

  • Defining and producing implementation project delivery based reports
    • Identifying the reporting audience and defining reports appropriate to the audience
    • Based on received feedback continuously improving reporting
    • Ensuring that progress on the requests are communicated to the requestors

Qualifications

You should have the following qualifications:

  • You have financial acumen with an understanding of corporate budgets.
  • You possess knowledge of project management tools i.e. MS Excel or Project.
  • You have excellent written and verbal communication skills coupled with good interpersonal and consultative skills.
  • You have the ability to engage with different cultures and people at several levels in an organization.
  • You are able to produce reports for all levels of the organization.
  • You will be able to innovate and make suggestions to improve processes.
