Your responsibilities

  • Support consolidation of the group financial statements for actual, budget and forecast purpose (based on IFRS)

  • Assist subsidiaries during the monthly closing process with accounting, financial statements, intercompany balance reconciliations

  • Prepare monthly journal entries as needed

  • Perform Journal and Elimination entries in Hyperion/Onestream

  • Maintain the consolidation working papers, and the adjusting and elimination entries

  • Assist in the bi-annual and annual audit of the consolidated financial information with the external auditors

  • Support of roll out of new accounting standards to the PayU Group

  • Consolidation and reporting Process improvement

  • Participating in the implementation of the new reporting support system for consolidation purposes

  • Work closely with the internal accounting, Tax, Treasury, Legal, M&A, and FP&A functions to ensure the quality, accuracy and consistency of the financial data reported in consolidation system

  • Be the liaison with Group Consolidation department

  • Perform all other related duties as assigned

Our requirements

  • A Master’s Degree in Accounting/Finance

  • At least 3-5 years’ experience in accounting and/ or reporting areas

  • Experience in IFRS group accounting or audit firm would be an advantage

  • Background in an international environment preferably

  • Experience with Cognos and Hyperion (HFM) will be an asset

  • Strong communicator, proactive and conceptual working, with a strong attention to detail

  • Excellent knowledge of English, both written and oral

  • Strong ability to multi-task and work with limited supervision with tight deadlines

  • Thinks outside of the box; willing to challenge existing processes to drive efficiency

  • ACCA or any similar certification would be an asset

  • You can work independently as well as with a team and interact with multiple stakeholders
